HHI Part-2

WE CAME BACK, AND NOW WE HAD NO TIME TO REST.

We started practicing. But our first job to be completed was to register and submit forms. It took some time but was finally done.

We had to first install an app 'BOOGALOO' and register on it. We had to fill forms for all group members and had to fill forms for solo battle separately. Those who were selected for solo battles paid there registration fees themselves. But for the group, sir had to pay it all together.

It was a freaking huge amount and it took hours to get the payment done. we waited for atleast 2 hours for the processing of the payment. I took care of the forms. I got them filled, scanned and made their pdf, and then sent them to sir.

Anyway. It was easily done. But wait, that isn't it.

One of our members, Denise, who is an African, had to go back home because her studies was done and her visa was about to expire. So it was decided that she'll go to her country, get her visa done again and come back to go with us to the competition.

But she couldn't come back😭😭😭😭😭😭 and now we had to find a new member. Someone who could match our group. and we did find one😎

We had to face some small issues too because of this. Pankaj sir and Denise were supposed to participate together in the battle - "All Style 2on2". But now they couldn't. So sir paired up with Jeff (who was left outπŸ˜…).

It still doesn't end here.......😨

After some time, the HHI proposed new and revised categories in Battles. All Style 2on2 was converted to All Style 1on1 (most probably because they didn't get enough entries for it).

Nowww...... Sir an Jeff filled the forms for the third time.

And then they had to fill them for the fourth time, and we had to fill them for the second time because they changed the dates of the event bruhh😭😭😭😡😫

3 - 7 January,2024, it was now. But we had booked a dormitory according to the previous dates 26-30 December,2023. It wasn't that big of a issue because we adjusted the day with the dormitory guy. We had payed advance for one day. We got it adjusted and now we planned that we would stay at the dormitory on our last day in Mumbai, after the event ended.

We got our dresses done.

Red and black kurtas were stitched respectively. They were styled with denim jacket and denim jeans. Joza (another African member of our group), had also gone to a short visit to her country for her insternship, came back with Katenge (african cloth). We cut pieces of it and stitched them on our jackets.

Then we got our Crew's logo and names of the members printed. i cut them and used them as a stencil to paint on the jackets. and VOILA!

Now comes the best part.

We all got our hair braided in blue. I swear to god I looked dayum beautiful and hottt....!!!πŸ‘€ Everyone looked lovely! The guys became more handsome, girls became prettier.

But it came with a priceπŸ˜“πŸ˜‘

We couldn't wash our hair until our competition was over. Please don't judge, but we didn't wash our hair for almost half a month.

Also it got itchy after a day and then it was itchy till we washed our hair. We had to sleep with a hanky tied on the head. Ahhhh... No good sleep till then.

We practiced hard, till 9, 10, 11 pm. went to college and practiced on the days off. We practiced. We worked for it. Hustled for it. And we were ready now.

Now, it was time to get on the train.
